Margo Mansfield, M.A., is passionate in her desire to develop training experiences to build emotional intelligence. She expands knowledge and skill building in empathy, social awareness, integrity, effective relationships, and mastery of one’s personal vision.
In the marketplace, little was considered about emotional intelligence until Dr. Daniel Goleman’s book, Emotional Intelligence: Why It Can Matter More Than IQ. In 1977, Ms. Mansfield conceptualized and developed her own methods in The Mansfield Way; which teaches people to learn about themselves and how to best relate and communicate with others for mutual success and fulfillment.
CAI began in Hawaii, in diverse culture of family-owned businesses, many of which are generations old. Success requires knowledge of cultural differences and similarities as well as family dynamics in the workplace whether the business is a family-owned or not. In that context, Ms. Mansfield built the fundamentals of The Mansfield Way.
As she became adept with the Personal Style Inventory, her work expanded into organization development, personnel selection and placement, strategic planning, leadership development and retention, succession planning, coaching/mentoring and a Train-the-Trainers program.
Word spread as thousands of people and dozens of organizations from the islands, mainland US and Asia took advantage of this unique program. In addition to the Hawaii location, Consulting Associates International, Inc moved its corporate offices to Yelm, WA in 1992.
By 1996, the Personal Style Inventory was a major training tool of leadership, management and staff development, and became the basis of the School of Holistic Management. This division develops training and consulting programs focusing on the Personal Style Inventory and emotional intelligence.
